Last week a post on the blog of the official Call of Duty Community confirmed that the first DLC drop titled “Onslaught” will be hitting the PC platform on Thursday February 27th.
[blockquote align=”left”]Onslaught – the first DLC Pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to release February 27th on the PlayStation Network and for the PC. Battle it out on four small to medium Multiplayer maps: Fog, Bayview, Containment, and Ignition – a re-imagining of the classic map Scrapyard from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Players will also get the Maverick, an all–new dual-purpose weapon that can be used as either an Assault Rifle or Sniper Rifle.[/blockquote]
[blockquote align=”left”]Additionally, Onslaught includes Extinction Episode 1: Nightfall, the initial installment in a four-part episodic narrative where players will explore a remote facility deep in the Alaskan wilderness in an effort to uncover the origin of the alien threat. Episode 1: Nightfall features two all-new species of the Cryptid aliens, including the three-story tall Breeder, as well as an exclusive weapon called the Venom-X.[/blockquote]
